to the official site of the 2nd IPSC European Shotgun Championship.
The
ESC ’06 was hosted by the Hellenic Shooting Federation at the city of
Kavala, the “Blue City” of Macedonia, Greece, the ancient land of Alexander the
Great.
Each shooter needed at least 233 shot shells, 34 slug shells and 36 buckshot shells to a total of 303 rounds.
15 stages were with birdshot, 4 stages for slug and 2 stages for buckshot to a total of 21 stages.
76.9% birdshot, 11.2% slug and 11.9% buckshot. All buckshot were ought to be no more than 9 pellets
All the participants mixed and enjoyed a unique match under the “brightest” Greek sun, the “bluest”
Mediterranean sky, the sandy beaches bearing the Blue Flag of
Excellence and the world-famous Greek hospitality.
Everybody mixed
and enjoyed the shooting passion with unforgettable late summer holidays in one
of the most beautiful spots of
Greece
